Description
The Bermad C70-IP-S is an air release valve designed with an integral check valve to only allow air to release from a pipeline. When the inlet pressure drops to zero or in vacuum the air valve instantly closes preventing the intake of air into the pipeline.
The valve has a high-capacity kinetic orifice designed for discharge of large quantities of air under pipe filling, and also incorporates an automatic orifice assembly to release any entrained air when the pipeline is under water pressure.
The C70-IP is perfectly designed for applications such as siphon pipelines, or on pump suction lines, or on any specific location where air entry is not desirable.
